Coronavirus Information

Dear Parents, Guardians and School Community:

In an effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact to our schools, we will continue to update this webpage with relevant and timely information.

As a school district, we receive regular updates from the Monmouth County Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding Novel Coronavirus and other health concerns. These updates include prudent measures and best practices that can be taken in order to remain a step ahead of this growing concern. Please note: At this time, there has not been a reported case of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community.

Despite not being directly affected by the Novel Coronavirus at this time, the Millstone Township School District has increased its awareness among staff and students. All building level nurses have provided classroom teachers with video tutorials that remind students to wash their hands regularly and properly and practice other good hygiene habits. The day and evening custodians have increased the level of rigor while cleaning and disinfecting classrooms and bathrooms; and highly active spots such as doorknobs and handrails are wiped down more frequently. To support our efforts in school, we ask that parents please keep children at home if they are under-the-weather -- especially if they have a fever.

The Millstone Township School District is committed to keeping the entire community updated with the most accurate information along with any new developments related to the Novel Coronavirus. Should you have specific concerns that are not addressed on this page, please call your child's school office or nurse.
